Why You Eat 2 or 3 Times Calorie Requirements and Get Fat

Falsely Confusing Your Operating System Big Time

Nutrients Stripped Means Eating Huge Quantities (with attached calories) To Get Missing Nutrients.

1. Ancestors and animals ate to obtain nutrients, and automatically craved, attracted to and just naturally, ate the foods rich in what they were lacking, and were driven to "like sweets" in fat making season. (only time they were available.)

(My dog knows which food is rich in what it is short of and will automatically zoom right to it.) when there is a selection.

Modern man has lost much of this ability to naturally select foods high in nutrients needed for maximum health and survival.
Modern man food selection ability has been corrupted and addicted to sweets and high starch and man made enhanced "flavors". Result nutrient content little or no natural attraction remains. Animals still retain this unless corrupted by modern man food..

However, if you are deficient in something and modern day food has been stripped of the nutrient and it is not available, you will still tend to eat high amounts of the food that is still containing some quantity by your body to try to compensate for the lower missing or lacking nutrient.

Along with that consumption, will come double or triple the calories. You did not crave and overly eat the food because you were uncontrollably hooked on food. you were trying desperately to get what you needed of a certain nutrient, or nutrients.

The following lists why your body will decide to eat huge amounts of certain foods that may contain a certain nutrient and here is why in many cases, despite eating all the right foods you were supposed to eat, the nutrient is now scarce in your food.

Example, fruits and vegetables: recently I ran across a couple of studies that show produce on a whole has lost about 40% average nutrient values since 1950 tests.
Obviously the years before that had lost considerable amounts compared to the wild food nutrient content our ancestors ate.

Most of these studies had no solid explanation for this, desperately, other then soil depletion and forced growth substances used in growing the food, added since the 50's. Some mention of course, selective breeding for marketing purposes.

Before the 50's and continuing today is the breeding and hand selection to develop a highly marketable produce, that grows bigger, produces more per acre, and looks very attractive, tastes delicious and LASTS on the shelf longer.

It is grown with hormones and chemicals to expedite growth and size.

(example, author aware of an acid added to Thompson grape irrigation water just before picking that makes them swell huge, big and juicy. (explains why my Thompson's are always small in comparison to those down the road in the commercial vineyard.)
So produce has been bred and developed and grown (force fed) solely on appearance, production, and shelf life ability, such as ability to pick long before matured and ripe and ability to ripen in the shipping period and super market.

Produce picked ripe has carried right in it , the natural enzymes you need to digest it fully. That ripened in the super market, in contrast, your body has to work to make up for the lost natural enzymes, in order to try to digest it fully.

Nutrient content, in today's produce development, had NO CONSIDERATION whatsoever. It has been essentially bred out as the other is bred in.

Therefore you have to eat twice the amount of "fresh fruits and vegetables" to be any where near equal to what nutrients your ancestors were eating of the same food. Along with that comes over twice the calories, since that is the primary thing remaining is these calories.

Skipping to eggs for example, you may read that likely your ancestors ate a lot of eggs. Even those who ate chicken eggs down on the farm 60 years ago got over twice the expected nutrients in today's factory raised confined chicken eggs according to several reports.
Even if you ate six eggs, you would not get what all your great grand parents got from 3.

Your having to eat twice as many to get the nutrients means to get these nutrients, you have to eat TWICE the calories that goes with it.

No wonder your appetite is unquenchable, you are starved for some nutrients..,.and you have no clue what as to what is lacking.

.......and you have calories everywhere.

2. "High Sugar" Fat Storing Season, Driven To Eat Every Calorie and Everything You Can Lay Your Hands On.

When your body gets into the low fat input and high sugar input, it switches to High Sugar Fat Making Body Operation Mode.
Operate muscles on sugar, this season and eat plenty extra to make fat, (absolutely no fat burning, only storing)

We call this operating in "Sugar Mode. Come fall, ancestors high sugar fruits, berries stop, animals after high sugar summer season were then high fat, normally causing your ancestors nature driven system to switch back to Fat Burning Standard Operational mode here automatically.
You erroneously keep it on High Sugar Season Mode, (also low fat) all year, and keep right on adding body fat as a result, and never burn a speck.

You try all the starving and depriving and, exercising, counting calories, your body compensates by lowering metabolism and burning muscle mass to make up shortages.

In "High Sugar Season Fat Making-Storage" Mode
  • Ravenously Hungry, natures way to make every bit of fat possible over high sugar season to get by the winter.
  • Normally draw on fat cells when low on energy, but in sugar mode you feel starved even with a body already loaded with fat, will desperately seek out food. (burn muscle if necessary) (high insulin generated by "high sugar input mode" will not allow fat to be burned)
  • Mood swings dependant on sugar swings, high to low, not apparent in fat burning mode.
  • More exercise or energy expended the hungrier to desperately obtain sugar burned replacement.
  • Any periods of low sugar availability muscle mass burned. Replaced when sugar plentiful again with FAT only.
Body becomes lower and lower percentage of sugar absorbing muscle mass and higher and higher fat cells each "yo-yo" calorie counting starvation diet cycle.

3. The Dead Food, Live Food Concept.

The difference really boils down to is Dead Food, definition is any food that has been heated over 116 degrees, the temperature enzymes and some food nutrients are destroyed by heat.

Mans health problems really started about the time (not too far back in the scope of things) he started cooking his food. You have to remember that even after cooking started, it was not easy for a long time, so that likely over 80% of our long term ancestors food was eaten raw.

This is the target of Live food advocates today, is to eat at least 80% of your food uncooked. Nearly all processed food is cooked at some state and even frozen food is usually blanched... (dipped in boiling water) before freezing. (kills bacteria).

This blanching process is reported to kill 30% of vitamins and antioxidants.
Microwaving (very high heat) is reported to kill 97% of Broccolis, flavanoids and vitamins, (from a Spanish study)
Therefore, if you microwave frozen broccoli, regarding vitamin and flavanoid content, you would do about as well eating the cardboard box it came in.

All processed food is really primarily processed (heated) to kill bacteria, so sterilized it can sit on the grocery shelf for months or years. It is this heat and sitting on the store shelf that winds up knocking about half or better of the benefits you are eating the food for.

Do not forget though that the calories and sugar come thru 100%. High fructose corn syrup is 100% the sweetener used in every brand of Ketchup I can find. More on that later.

Boiling knocks out about 40% of the food values with much of it going down the drain in the water used to boil.
Pressure cooking not used much anymore and of somewhat lower but not much.

Best bet according to the Spanish study is steaming, something we have done many articles on, that every diabetic needs a steamer.

They showed hardly any difference between steaming and raw on their broccoli tests.

Use a steamer for everything, you can even use it for meat and fish. We visited a 5,000 year old village excavation in China and they had been using steamers, one in good shape, in the museum. So it is not exactly a recent innovation. I thought that was one of the most significant things I learned in China. We actually did not intend to get into that here.  We are discussing how you have to eat a tremendous amount of food to get the nutrients your ancestors got.

That in doing so you get a tremendous amount of calories your ancestors never had to deal with.
We just did a thing on frozen broccoli (one of the least damaging food processing's) cooked in a microwave, but you need to know that if you take a canned vegetable for example that has been raised as in our previous portion of this article and has lost right out of the field down nearly 40% or more of its nutrients compared to our grandfathers. (same food)
Then we buy it processed, canned frozen etc, down 30 to 60% more from the method of processing and preserving it on the shelf, and you take it home and pop it in the microwave.

1. Growers drop in nutrients 40%
2. Processing, freezing, canning etc. another 40% average.
3. Take it home and microwave it and another 40% drop in food value, likely so now do the math and figure for every oz of the vegetable you ancestors ate, how much do you have to eat (this may now well be in pounds not oz. (quantity in oz of food) to equal the ancestors benefit from raw food.
Not To Worry, The Calories and Sugar Made it Thru Intact.
The point is you can not get the nutrients you need without eating a tremendous amount of a processed cooked food without getting many times normal calories and additional refined sugar, (added to almost everything) and worse yet high fructose corn syrup, replacing even sugar because it is "cheaper" after the government corn subsidies.
See our Ketchup example.
Who would have thought lowly Ketchup is LOADED with sugar, and that EVERY manufacturer has switched to High Fructose Corn Syrup to replace sugar. (it is sweeter and 20% cheaper then real sugar.)

Whether you are a diabetic or not (ESPECIALLY if you are,) you need to be off of high fructose corn syrup IMMEDIATELY.

That means NO MORE KETCHUP.

Point is the so called Live food our ancestors ate and that we as "health nuts" are supposedly switching too, by time we and our suppliers get thru with it is not much good compared to what our ancestor was eating, nutrient content an entirely different animal.

4. The High Calories Automatic Shut Off.

Every time someone takes note of the big extra heavy duty fat overcoat you are carrying you likely think you hear them saying......"just another No Will Power Gluten".
Well, we are carefully explaining it is under the circumstances, if understand all this, it is rather remarkable if you were not drowning in calories. (high sugar peaks= plus insulin =fat cell making and =road to diabetes etc)
Understand man is designed as a fat burning machines. He is made to basically run on fat with a sugar after burner. (for emergency supplementation.)
Therefore your full meter is made for fat mode, standard every day operation and works well.
Fat is concentrated calories and it takes very little to tell your fat meter to say enough, this stuff now tastes terrible. You can only eat a bit and you SHUT down.
That's the way you were designed to operate.
You could eat almost as much of anything you wanted but if it contained fat it had a fairly short limitation before eating with some fat was shut down as "full" automatically cause NOTHING tasted good anymore, you were full.
We have wore you out with our sugar mode story but understand this part, when on sugar mode, you are made to eat every bit of sugar you can find in high sugar season. ( you and the bear have same summer programming....eat unlimited sugar...stuff yourself till sick)
Therefore on sugar operating mode, you essentially HAVE NO FULL METER.  The sky is the limit.
Here is an example; the low fat people give you a low fat yogurt, low fat but very high sugar (or artificial sweetener, even worse) to make it taste like anything. They do not fill you up and since they are low fat you figure, its okay, they wont make me fat, since they are low fat
Exactly the wrong thing, the extra sugar is turned to fat, high fat in high fat yogurt would have filled you up and would have shut your eating down early. No auto shut down with high sugar, and absolutely no auto "FULL" shut down with high fructose corn syrup.

Incidentally, fat IS NOT converted to body fat. (only sugar turns on fat making hormone INSULIN.) No sugar no fat making hormone=no body fat added.

    The difference
  1. You are built for Fat Burning Operation of your body.
  2. All models come with automatic FULL shut off, (based on fat input mixture etc)
  3. Takes very little to make food no longer desirable. Full Reading.
  4. High Sugar Season Sugar mode operation, (what you likely have going year around inadvertently) Full Meter only marginal operation, to speak of, on sugar input.
  5. Program and bodies goal is to have you find in high sugar season and eat every bit of sugar around, no limitation.
  6. Success of this fat conversion rush determined whether your ancestor made it thru the winter. So a sugar input shut off was counter to goal.
  7. Two Extreme Shut down changes NOW not registering on full meter shut down.
  • High Fructose Corn Syrup, ( now in all pop ). 100% No registration on full meter. Man made substance.
  • MSG Mon-Sodium Glutamate. Man made substance, completely subverts your taste system, so your full meter "no longer tastes good automatic stop eating" no longer works.
Body is convinced card board still tastes good with this stuff. Added to as much as 40% of processed foods according to some reports.
Understand why some people go right on eating, when you think anybody with any sense would have stopped?
Understand there is NOTHING wrong with them and their survival system.
There is something wrong with the input (we hope we have explained well enough) they have been using and how their master control is being deceived. They are operating on a strong STILL HUNGRY false reading.
We hope after this lengthy explanation, you are beginning to see why.
